With postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology, I hold credentials with both the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the South African HPCSA. My journey has included work in community mental health, correctional services, trauma counselling, and leadership as a speaker on mental health treatment and management.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and trauma‑informed. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, men’s mental health challenges, concerns with identity, trauma, or relationship struggles, using modalities including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Schema Therapy
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Transpersonal Psychology
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Jungian Psychodynamic Therapy
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
In our first session, we’ll aim to understand the reasons for therapy and context leading to this. I bring empathy, flexibility, and experience offering support that truly meets your context.
For organisations, I am able to assist with clients for EAP as well as professional public speaking for groups interested in optimising the mental health literacy and well-being of their staff or other group members.

Therapies and Services
At Clarity Mind Therapy, I offer a range of evidence‑based and holistic therapies, tailored to meet your individual needs. Therapy can help with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, self‑esteem, and life transitions, whether through short‑term interventions or deeper, longer‑term work.
Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy explores deep emotional patterns and core beliefs formed in early life that may lead to recurring difficulties in adulthood. Through compassionate exploration and structured techniques, it helps heal old wounds and create healthier emotional responses.
Best for: Long‑standing relationship patterns, self‑criticism, low self‑worth, trauma‑related difficulties
Goal: Break free from unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is one of the most widely used, evidence‑based therapies for anxiety, depression, and stress. It helps you identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours, and replace them with healthier ways of coping.
Best for: Anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, low confidence
Goal: Build practical coping skills and emotional resilience
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
DBT is a specialised form of CBT designed for people who experience intense emotions, self‑criticism, or difficulty in relationships. It combines emotional regulation with mindfulness and distress tolerance skills.
Best for: Emotional dysregulation, self‑harm urges, borderline personality traits, relationship conflict
Goal: Develop balance between acceptance and change while managing strong emotions safely
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD
ERP is the gold‑standard therapy for Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It helps you gradually face intrusive thoughts, fears, or triggers while resisting compulsive behaviours. Over time, this retrains the brain to reduce anxiety and break the cycle of obsessions and compulsions.
Best for: Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder (OCD), intrusive thoughts, ritualistic behaviours, health anxiety
Goal: Reduce compulsions, increase confidence in managing intrusive thoughts, and regain control of your life
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT focuses on helping you accept your thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with your personal values. This therapy builds psychological flexibility, helping you live a more meaningful life despite challenges.
Best for: Anxiety, depression, chronic stress, life transitions, identity challenges
Goal: Let go of the struggle with distressing thoughts and focus on what matters most
Jungian Psychodynamic Therapy
This therapy focuses on the unconscious mind, dreams, and self‑understanding. Drawing on psychodynamic and Jungian principles, it supports identity exploration, personal meaning, and emotional healing.
Best for: Identity concerns, recurring life patterns, personal growth, meaning and purpose
Goal: Foster self‑awareness, emotional integration, and a stronger sense of self
Transpersonal Psychology
Transpersonal therapy goes beyond symptom relief, exploring the spiritual and existential aspects of life. It incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and symbolic work to help clients connect with a deeper sense of meaning, creativity, and wholeness.
Best for: Life transitions, spiritual growth, existential concerns, post‑traumatic growth
Goal: Support emotional healing and self‑actualisation through a holistic approach
Trauma‑Informed Care
All therapy is provided from a trauma‑informed perspective, meaning that safety, trust, and empowerment are at the heart of the process. Trauma‑informed therapy respects your pace and avoids re‑traumatisation, while gently supporting healing and recovery.
Best for: PTSD, complex trauma, childhood adversity, emotional or relational trauma
Goal: Build safety, resilience, and recovery without pressure or judgment
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a supportive space for partners to improve communication, resolve conflict, and reconnect. I help couples identify recurring patterns, explore underlying emotional needs, and develop healthier relationship dynamics.
Best for: Communication difficulties, recurring conflicts, trust issues, intimacy concerns
Goal: Strengthen understanding, rebuild connection, and foster a more fulfilling partnership
